About our nursery
Dear Friend! Welcome to Pollysilk kennel's web-site. I am, breeder Polina Shelkovskaja, I invite you to glance in the world of an ancient and mysterious, extremely clever and magic - touching, incredibly devoted and fierce-hooligan, delightfully-tender and stunningly enduring, funny and serious breed - AFENPINCHER. Seeing for the first time Affen in a picture in 2009 I fell in love in absentia in this breed and not a minute do not regret that tied to her life. I will try to show all the charm of Affenpinchers, and if not to infect the monkeys forever, it is sure to deliver as many happy moments from acquaintance with us.
Next About the breed
The Affenpincher is one of the few very ancient miniature breeds that was once the 'prototype' of the modern Zwerg schnauzer, Belgian Griffon and Pinscher. Although they have surpassed their 'ancestors' in popularity, they lack the charm that today attracts more and more people to these hard-haired, unusually intelligent, hardy, independent, sensitive creatures with small, monkey-like faces.
